How is it useful?

YouTube is the second largest search engine in the world.  Approximately 310 million people visit YouTube.com each day (source Wolframalpha Nov 2009).

According to data from Comscore (July 2009), the US site was the 6th largest internet destination, the top internet entertainment site and has significant reach in most ages groups.
